We design and install beautiful hand-crafted furniture which is prepared in the rural workshop of Alan Cooper in Ford Village near Aylesbury. We offer our bespoke bedrooms roughly within a 25 mile radius of Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.
We have developed many designs over the years, which your bedroom or other furniture project can also be flexibly based upon. We also have the capability to start from scratch, and can use our CAD modelling software to design in 3d, effectively visualising and increasing accuracy to compliment Alan’s traditional craftsmanship.
The main material we use is European Oak, carefully arranged to show it at its best. Other timbers are available. We also offer hand-painted finishes on poplarwood and moisture resistant MDF.
We use a variety of construction methods, including dovetails and mortise and tenon joints, as well as more modern methods to accommodate all requirements with high precision and life-long service.
We mainly fit traditional brass-butt or wrought iron hinges to ensure structural strength, superior to the modern hinges fitted by many competitors.
We prefer to manufacture everything ourselves, including the doors to maintain continuity and to guarantee quality of materials and manufacture.
